Raise Your Trailer's Ride Height

Newer trucks are being built to ride higher. This means that your trailer may have to be raised to match. If the two aren't the same height at the connection point, the nose of your trailer or RV is going to ride too high. This will put too much weight on the rear of your trailer, which can result in poor handling and may eventually cause damage.

The Correct Track helps to solve this problem by lifting your trailer or RV 1-1/4" or 2-1/4", which provides a level towing setup for taller trucks. This added lift is also great for 5th-wheel trailers that might have trouble clearing tall pickup bed side rails.

Correct Misaligned Axles and Suspension

If the tires on your RV or trailer are wearing down quickly and prematurely, there's a good chance your axles are out of alignment. Driving with misaligned axles for long periods of time will shorten the life of your tires, reduce your gas mileage, and can make it difficult to steer your rig. Misaligned axles are often caused by an imbalance of weight, which can result from simply using the slide-out on your 5th wheel or having heavy appliances positioned on one side.

The Correct Track integrates into your trailer's suspension system and shifts the axles back into proper alignment. This kit allows you to adjust the axle alignment by 1/4" increments for a properly aligned suspension. It will correct your RV or trailer's alignment whether the axles need to be moved forward or backward.

Pretty simple to do with great benefits down the road.

by:

Do not purchase. These did not work at all and I had to remove them.

by:

I have not had a chance to install them yet, but they seem to be exactly what I need.

by:

The product looks great and seems very well made. I have not been able to install on my own and I have tried with two different shops to install this system on my RV and they will not.

by:

Price was good and it was in stock.
I
was confused why it took four days to ship when it was pulled the second day?
I ended up not being able to use it before I left on a six-week excursion.
Looking forward to getting back home and installing the product.

by:

Great customer service from beginning to delivery.

by:

Used this to lift my fifth wheel 2 inches to reduce the nose height condition that is common with newer trucks. Not as easy as changing a tire though.

by:

I can’t review the product since installation is not scheduled until Friday. I have ordered fro eTrailer because I like their service, customer service and quick ship and deliver.

by:

Product is great. I just wish the instructions addressed tandem and triple axle applications. And some actual pictures of installation would be even better.

by:

Installing this kit on my travel trailer corrected my dual axle alignment problem which was wearing the inside of the left rear tire. It was easy to install, easy to understand, and very adjustable.

by:

All the parts are quality made, but I had to replace the axle and didn't need to use the Correct Track Trailer Alignment and Lift Kit.

The listing for this product was confusing. I thought I was ordering the LCI kit, even double checked part numbers, they are the same. What I got was a kit by The Mobil Outfitters. Maybe they are part of LCI, I don’t now..... But, now I know why this kit is cheaper than the LCI kit, I performs the same function, but it’s a little crude. They supply grade 5 standard bolts where the LCI kit has the nice shoulder bolts. I guess I should have looked really hard at the picture, because the parts are displayed as you will get them.

Another big gripe for me was that the reinforced spring slot has its inside reinforcement plate slightly out of alignment with the main plate. Did not realize this until I forced a bolt through and ruined the fine threads on a bolt.

It gets the job done, just not as refined as the LCI kt.

  • What is Best Way to Lift 2025 Grand Design Reflection 337RLS
Hey Charles, I have a solution for you but going with stiffer suspension on your 2025 GD reflection 337rls would not be an ideal way to gain addition height nor would it really be very effective. Instead your best solution would be to go with a lift kit designed for tandem axle trailers like what you have with the Correct Track # RR55QX which can give you a lift of up to 2-1/4 inches. I know the title says it's for a triple axle trailer but it's correct kit for a tandem to give you the...

  • Will 8k Leaf Springs Lift Trailer With 7k Axles
Hi Greg; leaf springs aren't typically used to raise a trailer. However, if the # EM28AJ matches your current leaf spring measurements, and your current leaf springs are 3-leaf, and the leaf springs are sitting on top of the axle, that would push you up by 1" with the 1/4" leaf thickness. Assuming this is a tandem axle trailer the other option would be to add the Correct Track # RR55QX. This kit extends your hangers so you don't have to cut them off and weld on new ones for a lift. • How To Increase Bed Rail Clearance When Pulling 5th Wheel Camper With 2024 Ford F-450
Hey Ryan, thanks for reaching out. Switching from your MORryde pin box to the Gen-Y Executive gooseneck won’t automatically give you more bed-rail clearance. Both pin boxes use the same bolt pattern and ride in roughly the same vertical space, so you don’t really “gain” height by swapping. Sometimes the Gen-Y sits a touch different, but not enough to treat it as a fix. That said, the correct Gen-Y Executive hitch for your camper is the following: - Gen-Y Hitch Shock Absorbing 5th Wheel...

Hey Scott, to lift the suspension of your 2017 Grand Design Imagine 2800BH 2-1/4 inches we have the Correct Track lift kit part # RR55QX. I know the title says triple axle but this is correct kit for a tandem axle trailer to get the full 2-1/4 inch lift and not just 1-1/4 inch. Have drug your trailer on the rougher roads?

  • Will Correct Track Fit Forest River Sandpiper 4002FB
Hey Matt! Yes, the Correct Track Trailer Alignment and Lift Kit # RR55QX will fit your Forest River Sandpiper 4002FB. These work with any standard hangers like yours, extending them to achieve a lift. The kit I linked here is actually the triple axle kit, but it is the one you need to raise each set of hangers equally. Are you looking for more clearance or are you nose high trying to level out your 5th wheel?

  • Solution for Fifth Wheel Trailer that is Sitting Nose High
Hey Bill, so we can help but the cushioned equalizer part # MR27ZR that you referenced was not designed to provide additional height to the trailer so it would not be what you are looking for. Before I mention parts that will lift the rear suspension is your pin box mounted in the highest mounting bracket holes currently? Is your fifth wheel hitch set at it's lowest height setting? Try those two things if you haven't already. To add 2 inches of height to your trailer's rear suspension...

Hey Conner, from previous customers who have had the Dexter 13-10 equalizers we know that the Dexter EZ Flex part # K71-652-00 is the correct cushioned replacement that is close enough in size. It will fit and will make a noticeable improvement for your trailers ride quality. You will lose a bit of height since these are 2 inches shorter so to make up for that you'd need the Correct Track Lift kit part # RR55QX. I know this says triple axle but it's correct amount of components to lift...

  • Can Truck with Body Lift Tow Trailer with Gooseneck Hitch
Hey James, so towing a trailer with an in-bed hitch with a truck that has any type of lift gets pretty complicated pretty quickly. The problem you found is one reason. For body lifts there's not really anything you can do aside from maybe some type of modification to the hitch but that would be uncharted waters for us. Best option is honestly remove the lift kit as lift kits and towing is just a lot of headache. Second best option is go with a suspension lift instead of the body lift...

  • How to Lift 2021 Keystone Carbon Toy Hauler
Hey Dan! First of all, do you have your 5th wheel hitch and pin box fully adjusted? Make sure your 5th wheel is on the highest setting and you drop your pin box all the way down to help with clearance. Also, I'm guessing your leaf springs are already sitting on top of the axle. If they aren't let me know and you can use an axle flip kit to raise the height of the trailer. Outside of those options you can use the Correct Track Trailer Alignment and Lift Kit # RR23QX (tandem) or # RR55QX...

  • Options For Adding Lift To Help Level Out 5th Wheel
Hello Greg, thanks for reaching out. Adding a lift to your 5th wheel is a solution for this. What I would recommend for that is an over-under kit (if applicable). This puts the leaf spring pack on top of the axle but since your have a 5th wheel it is likely already configured this way. Aside from that you can use the Correct Track Trailer Alignment and Lift Kit # RR55QX which will provide a 2-1/4" lift. I have heard of people using lift block kits, but this is not something we carry...

  • Will Taller Equalizer Raise Height of Trailer
Hey Mike! Are you referring to the Dexter # K71-448-00? Adding a taller equalizer is possible but it won't raise the height of your overall trailer. You would also have to get longer hangers for the front and rear to match and raise the height. I don't recommend this since you may throw off your suspension if you don't get it right. The flip kit # K71-384-00 (2-3/8" axles) or # K71-385-00 (3" axles) is the most basic, cost effective way to do this. You can also use the Correct Track #...

This technically says it's for a triple axle trailer/camper, but to get the full 2-1/4" lift it can offer, the brackets do need to be installed on all the hangers (including the center equalizer one). • How to Gain Additional Clearance on Brinkley Model G 3970 With Gen-Y Gooseneck Pin Box
Hey Larry, welcome back! To gain that extra clearance at this point you will need to raise the trailer. More than likely your leaf springs are already on top of the axle so an axle flip kit won't do it. If a 2-1/4" lift is enough you can use the # RR55QX. This extends the hangers to raise the trailer height. If you really think you need 3" the only option would be to cut off all of your hangers and weld on new ones that are 3" taller.
